Rosters of employees and inmates, 1874-1898.

Record includes various employee and inmate payroll and attendence lists. Employee lists include monthly payroll listings (1874-1897) which give employee name; monthly pay rate; time worked; absence and return dates; days present; days paid for; and total amount paid. Employee rosters (1878-1897) list employee job title; roster entry number; monthly pay rate; discharge or resignation date; daily employee attendence record (October 1876-February 1877); daily roster (1877) gives employee totals and provides remarks on sickness or resignation; and employee boarding records (1877-1897). Quarterly inmate rosters (1876-1897), are arranged by county and include inmate name; support method (i.e., county, private); admission, readmission, and discharge dates; days present; amounts due from individuals and counties; total amount due from each county; and a daily census (1874-1897) counting female and male inmates admitted, returned, discharged, or remaining, and monthly totals for each group.
